Turkish Arrested for Criminal Conduct

Three Turkish citizens was arrested and put into custody of East Denpasar police office for alleged criminal conduct. Gokhan Bozkurt (21 years old), Celale Tein Akdas (23 years old), and Farhan Armed (28 years old) have proven to conduct their criminal action at a cellphone counter on Jalan WR Supratman, Denpasar. Temporary stayed at Saraswati Bungalows on Jalan Danau Tamblingan, Sanur, they hypnotized waitress of Oke Shop, Dewi Sri Astuti, and stole cash amounting to 400 thousands Rupiah. The incident taking place at 4PM on Sunday, August 17th, was reported by the shop owner to the police. Continue reading »

Tourism is only available to those living in Kuta, Nusa Dua, and probably a few small villages of Gianyar. Bali is Getting Smaller

Aerial shot taken over Bali show that the island is getting smaller because of abrasion. Additionally the picture also show significant shift in space usage. Land allocation was severely abused. There was no clear differentiation between areas for environmental conservation to reserve water and areas where residential and industrial development were allowed. Australia Proposed Extradition of Paul Callahan

The assembly on Australian proposal to extradite Pauk Callahan, an Australian suspected for a number paedophilic cases back in his country took place in the court of justice of Denpsar yesteday (August 13th). During the session led by Judge IBP Madeg, Paul declared that he voluntarily surrender himself and pleaded to be temporarily detained in Kerobokan jail.

Paul show opposite attitude compared to the time when police arrested him. At that time Paul who married Balinese woman appealed to refuse extradition back to his country. Among other argument he brought was the fact that he has no intention to leave Bali where he has lived for the last five years. In the assembly Paul expressed submission to proposal for his extradition placed by Australian government through attorneys Suhadi and Ketut Terima Darsana. Continue reading »

Bank Customer Robbed in Denpasar

Bank customers need to take a better care of themselves to anticipate unexpected incident especially when they are withdrawing large amount of cash, as criminality is increasing lately. Within the last two weeks there have been two robberies reported in Denpasar. Imprisonment Verdict for Pimp Employing Children

Anggun has nothing else to do than regret and submissively accept 4.5 years imprisonment verdict pronounced by the judges at the court of justice in Denpasar for her conduct in employing children in her prostitution business. Judge Emy Herawati convicted her guilty for braking article no. 88 of Indonesian supreme law UU RI No. 23/2002 as the accumulated primary charge, and article no. 505 of Indonesian criminal law as accumulated secondary charge.
