Ubud Writers and Readers Festival (UWRF) again opens a chance for young writers Indonesia to attend literature festival in Ubud, Gianyar Regency as it will hold on October 2012. The Director who is also the founder of UWRF Janet De Neefe on Monday said this biggest annual literature event in Indonesia is the ninth event as it is bringing the theme of “Bumi Manusia” (Human Earth). Denpasar Festival Got Rp3,1 Billion
Fourth Denpasar Festival in the end of December 2011 was able to record Rp3,1 billion earnings. “This earnings is increasing rather than the same event in 2010. Denpasar Festival in 2010 was only earning Rp2,5 billion,” said the Head of Public Relation and Protocol Division Denpasar Dewa Gede Rai in Denpasar at Tuesday. He said the biggest earnings of this event comes from culinary stall as much as Rp2 billion.
