The Regency Govenrment of Karangasem kas issued a warning to the Management of Sidharta Resort at Kubu, Karangasem, and instructed the management to close the hotel within seven days from the date of the letter, July 29th 2009. Holy Sites is not for Investment
Eagerness of investors into holy sites of Bali got negative reaction from local communities, including investor intending to enter the area of Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan, Buleleng. 50 Baby Turtles Released at Kuta Beach
Efforts on protection of sea turtle in Bali is considered very strategic as this species is needed in certain religious rituals. Head Trading Has To Be Stopped
Head trading practice has been a critical issue in handling tourism market with Mandarin language such as Taiwan and China for long. Related components have expressed their commitment to stop the unethical conduct through an agreement between Bali chapter of Indonesian Travel Agent Association (ASITA) and Bali chapter of Indonesian Tour Guide Association (HPI) in March 8th 2004. Unfortunately whilst everybody are struggling in consistently implementing the agreement, a new problem arose. Without clear legal background, Bali Tourism Office has just granted a special privilege for Mandarin Division of HPI Bali to serve as the controlling body. Petitenget Estuary Contaminated
Estuary next to Petitenget temple is geting worse by contamination. The water is now in yellowish green color and full of rubbish. Most possibly contaminants are dominated by fat disposed by restaurants in the area. There is also sediment of mud at the bottom of the estuary.
