Tourism to Bali gets Increase
During Lebaran holiday this year, the number of tourist that comes to Bali especially for domestic tourist is increased. Several tourism objects like Kuta beach and Tanah Lot is fulled with visitors. Whereas, the number of Hotel guests is above 90 percents for hotel in Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Jimbaran and Nusa Dua that are stars Hotel in Bali.
Bali Post reported that at Kuta Beach, Tuesday, (22/9), the tourist seem throng together at that beach.
The wave of the sea is quite high along with rain that sometime fell could not prevent them from visiting. And even there are foeirgn tourists who tried their surfing skill vanquish the sea wave.
Many of them sat at the beach and waited for the sunset while enjoyed their snack and soft drink. Foreign tourist spent their time with sun bath though there was no sun at that time or they will spend their time chat with craft seller who sold their goods.
Those scenery can be said as eternal scenery at Kuta Beach that become one of the tourism iconic in Bali. Now the beach is much wider and full with white beach with the edge of the beach that is bluffed.
News related to the dead of a group of terorist certainly become the reason of increasing rate of the foreign tourist. Sign to that is showed by the flow of visitors to Bali is mounted up. Data that is compiled from PAP I Ngurah Rai International Airport mentioned that the number of visitors attended Bali a day for Agustus-September is about 7,000 people.
This condition also triggered the rate of Hotel visitors in Bali, especially in Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Jimbaran and Nusa Dua is stable enough. PR Manager of several hotels when contacted admited their rate of occupancy can be considered as high. PR Manager of Santika Premier Beach Resort Bali Hotel, Luh Suciari acknowledged that their rate of room occupancy is above 90 percents.
