Badung government decided not allowed night club establishment at the formerly Sari Club location. The location of bomb explosion on October 12, 2002 only dedicated for the establishment of Bali Peace Park.

That decision was confirmed by Badung Regent Anak Agung Gde Agung after attended the annual of Bali bomb on October 1st at the Australian embassy office, Renon Denpasar on Thursday (1/10).

Anak Agung Gede Agung state that he will only permitted an establishment of supporting facilities for Humanity Monument like Museum.

“Yesterday, there was walls made from bamboos on the land of ex-Sari Club, since they have no authorization then I ordered to disassembling it,” as confirmed from Agung.

Anak Agung Gde Agung states his support due to the establishment of Bali Peace Park proposed by Australian people as the member of Bali Peace Park Association.

“We absolutely support that idea, furthermore it was for humanity, this stand as an honor symbol for humanity tragedy happened in that place,” said Anak Agung Gede Agung.

Anak Agung Gede Agung admitted that he will facilitate land liberation to support the establishment of Bali Peace Park. This will give new potencies for tourism in Kuta.

”Mediation process for land liberation will take time for about three months. It is due to the civil right which still posses by the owner of the land, so we can not take off his right just like that,” said Agung.
