Electricity Deficit, Customer Ask for Sparing
Gas Power Electrical Generator of Gilimanuk jembrana will entering maintaining period (C-Inspection) starting from October 10th until December 6th.
The maintenance of this Gas Power Electricity Generator will cause the decreasing of energy supply for about 130 MW. During the maintenance, the customer of National Electricity Generator in Bali is being asked to be thrift when used the electrical power.
General Manager of National Electricity Generator, ltd. Of Bali distribution, Arifuddin Nurdin, in his press conference in Denpasar yesterday enounced, the maintenance of Gas Power Electrical Generator of Gilimanuk with 130 MW capacity will cause that generator depart form electrical system in Bali.
”The decreasing of 130 MW caused by the maintenance of Gas ower Electrical Generator of Gilimanuk, plus peak load in 493 MW being the reason of electrical thrift as a must,” said Nurdin
With that kind of electrical condition in Bali nowadays, Nurdin clarify, during the maintenance state there is a possibility of black out in a row starting from 06.00 p.m. until 11.00 p.m.
To deal with that deficit problem of electrical power, the customer of National Electrical Generator is suggested to thrift for 100 watt or equal with four lamps per customer when the peak point at 06.00 p.m. until 11.00 p.m.
If 740.000 customers of National Electrical Generator can thrift for about 100 watt in peak point, then it is 74 MW economic makes the effect of black out in row can be minimized.
Though there is black out in row when Gas Power Electrical Generator, Nurdin ask for the people not too rush to buy set of generator.
“There is nothing to be worried. We optimist this black out not like what people imagine,” he asserted.
