First King’s Grandson Ceremony Charged for about 150 million Rupiah

Puri Anyar Kerambitan Tabanan held an old tradition known as Tigang Sasihan. This ceremony was due to ceremonies the first three months grandson of Puri Anyar Kerambitan King. This rare ceremony spent million of money.

Tigang Sasihan ceremony – Three months baby ceremony – in Anyar Puri Kerambitan Tabanan was began with Peed Agung ceremony – parade ceremony – starting from Merajan Alit Puri – Alit Puri Temple – to the Merajan Agung Puri Anyar Kerambitan. The baby was taken to the ceremonial location with greatness attribute of Puri Anyar Kerambitan.

Arrived in the ceremonia location of Tigang Sasihan in Merajan Puri Agung, this King’s Grandson named Anak Agung Rama Putra should went through lantaran or layer made from pandanus and cepug cloth.

When went through merajan agung, King’s grandson will be ceremonially and accompanied by Palawaktia dance symbolized manhood and courageous of growth man.

Arrived in Merajan Agung Puri, the first grandson of Puri Anyar Kerambitan King started undergone Tigang Sasihan ceremony. This ceremony was led by a pedanda – the highest priest of Hindu – and several pemangku – Hindu’s priest below pedanda –

In this ceremony, the baby went through several processes like used cloth and jewelry, the ceremony of first step on earth or descended to earth until slept on the cradle.

”all of that ceremonial process meant to introduce the mortal life to the child so that he will fight and live for his life finely,” said Puri Anyar King, Anak Agung Ngurah Oka Silagunada.

In the end of that ceremony, the whole puri – castle – family prayed together for the baby’s health and safety.

This kind of ceremony is considered as the rare one since it is infrequently conducted in this puri.

This first grandson had been waited by the king family for about twelve years, and Puri Anyar itself spent one hundred and fifteen million Rupiah for this ceremony.
