Local Income Department of Badung Threatened Naughty Taxpayers

Exhausted with the naughty taxpayer, Region Government of Badung through the Local Income Department of Badung started to spread their threat. The taxpayers who until today keep eluded to fulfill their duty from paying tax, they would befall with clear sanction even as far as to conduct confiscation act.

The head of Local Income Department, I Gusti Alit Agung on November 4th said that until today Badung PHR credit reached for more than eighty billion Rupiah entered local cash. That amount becomes bigger caused by many taxpayers who didn’t fulfill their duty to pay for a long time. This make Alit Agung forced officers of Badung Region Government to act firmly.

Coordination meeting involved two elements that are government and law enforcement was held yesterday. From the law enforcement there are policemen, attorney, and court. Whereas, from the government’s side there are people from Local Income Department, economic institution, Regional Intelligent Institution, and civil service police.

From the coordination result, it had been agreed that for the naughty taxpayer will be proceeded firmly by confiscation. “If they remain to be hard headed then we can conduct to confiscation step,” he admitted while added that they already had the list of those naughty taxpayers. It has been said that before the attorney confiscating stuffs we will expos it widely in the press, so they will learn a lesson from that.

About the sanction, he said that everything has already according to the valid mechanism. It is starting from giving first admonition, second admonition and then the third ones. If until the third admonition they still didn’t fulfill their duty, Local Income Department will bring the case to the attorney party. “Soon after attorney received the case, then confiscation process could begin,” he said.
