Problems related to unauthorized villa in Badung until today still has no solution. There are wild villas operated. One example can be found in Perenan and Cemagi Village of Mengwi area, there are tens of villas who have no authorization.

It was revealed from an inspection of commission A DPRD Badung on Friday, December 11th. Villas which were identified still have no complete authorization are Hilda Villa, Inti Villa, Mimpi Villa, Adinda Villa, Natali Villa and Burung Villa. Their modus so it will remain unknown was using residential identity as it’s undercover instead of villas rental business. Besides, they recognized the tenants as their family members. There are also villas that didn’t have IMB – Izin Mendirikan Bangunan (Building Construction Authorization) as well as without any operational authorization also. Moreover, some of them had build on the wetland or against the designation area.

“It is not the problem of one villa only which collides with the rule, but there are numbers of them. This absolutely adverse the government since they never paid for the tax. So off course it need further action,” as been asserted by the secretary of commission A DPRD Badung, I Made Duama after the inspection over on Friday, December 11th. Duama averted this collides problem need to be solved with a firm action. Duama wish for the relevant institution such as Regional Tourism Department and Badung Police Force of Civil Service will immediately take enforcement action.

“Its modus operandi was always the same that the guests lived in their villas are their family. But in fact that was exactly a villa. Since they have already names the building and commerce it in website. The transaction must be abroad, so when the guest arrived here in Bali has been approved as their family,” conveyed by Duama while get accompanied with the member of Commission A, IGN Mambal Asak.

Meanwhile, the head of Badung Regional Tourism Department, I Made Subawa denied that his party let those wild villas growth freely. According to Sumbawa his party keeps doing investigation toward those villas existences in all areas of Badung. From that investigation precisely there are villas who have no authorization as been said by the Commission A, but still there are villas that in fact were really a residential and not for commercial purpose.

“In our former investigation we didn’t find any of them that without authorization, but now lot of them already manage their authorization. But off course the information from council’ sudden inspection will still be continued with some actions.

On yesterday inspection also, the commission A was back to investigate the mysterious project in Pererenan Beach area. It was the same with the first inspection; that group who led by the head of Comission A, I Nyoman Sutrisno couldn’t met the owner of the project. But they only met the former owner of the land. And from that yesterday meeting, the project is all about building circling road. Followed yesterday information, the commission A planed to call the owner of the project on Monday, December 14th. Besides the owner, they also will invite bendesa adat and members of Pererenan Village organization. Meanwhile, seen from the physic of that village, commission A suspected the project had against beach demarcation.

“There should be a firm action from the executive. Besides calling the owner of those unauthorized villas as well as the owner of seashore project, we also will invite bendesa and village apparatus together with related institution,” explained by Duama.
