Tourists Complain Kertagosa

Tourism Object of Kertagosa in Klungkung is get flooded by tourists both domestic and foreign. More than 200 tourists came to that tourism object which is located in the middle of Semarapura City. Especially during holiday, number of large tourism buses are always parked at Kertagosa parking area and at the front of Klungkung Regent Office. This indicates the rise of tourism industry in Klungkung.
That, of course must be accompanied by reform effort of related institutions as well as Klungkung Government. Starting from the view of surrounding object also about tourist conformity and safety.
In one hand, there are still a high-voltage electric cables above the tourism area which describes the proceedings process of the kingdom era. Beside could reduce the object beauty, it also dangerous and threaten safety. That electrical cables are harmful. The manager should pay more attention, as criticized by several tourists. When confirmed on Thursday yesterday, Kadisbudpar – chief of Cultural and Tourism Institution – Nengah Wijana didn’t deny it. He admitted that he had already received some suggestions related to the conformity and safety of Kertagosa visitors.
In relation with the high-voltage power cable that passes over the object, Wijana claimed that he will remove it into underground cable lines or in another word is planted. Confirmed, cable transfer plan has been went through APBD Klungkung – Klungkung Budgetary Expense Design – However, Wijana pleaded that he didn’t remember the number of the budget. It is clear that budget amount will be under Rp 100 million, he said while adding that Kadisbudpar has coordinated with PLN – State Electrical Company – and contractor who will handle that cable transfer project.
The problem is, so far there is no Klungkung contractors who qualified in electrical field, he added. According to the plan, electricity network transfer project from top to bottom (underground), is estimated will require 200 meter of special cable, where it is available outside Bali. Whereas for the project application, it is need total demolition of the existing networking instalation. In which we will remove them with all new application and that not cost us little.
