Badung regency plan related to the arrangement of seven tourism villages become its tourism trading in the next 2010, but it still blocked by a main problem that is infrastructure. The infrastructure condition in some of those villages are not supported the arrangement for tourism sectors.

It is due to the extensive difference at the field, even though it has been determined as a tourism village, road infrastructure at those villages are still inappropriate in other words it damaged or get mess. As for the main road at Sangeh Village, that is lots of holes and cracks. Furthermore, Bongkasa Village’s road has already undergone severe damage.

“If the government really serious about that tourism development then they should have think about road infrastructure development. That roads are not undergone damage this recent year but it has already ten years ago but until today there is no repairing.

A politician from Sangeh village Abiansemal wishes for related institution to not merely speaking about villages’ development in order for tourism village creation but it should followed by concrete repairing through roadwork at those villages.

Nowadays Regional Tourism Institution in Badung had been determined seven villages as tourism villages. They are Kiadan Petang Village with tracking attraction in the middle of coffee farm, ecotourism and Nungnung waterfall. At Sangeh Village in Abiansemal offers monkeys attraction and 14-hectare nutmeg forest. Not forget to mention Bongkasa Pertiwi and Baha village where both of them as the example area for pampering the tourists with ATV ride, rafting, silver handicrafts and agriculture.

Then in Mengwi precisely at Baha village, there is Goa Perjuangan – Survival Cave – and agrarian socio-economic activities as well as subak museum. Mengwi village with Taman Ayun temple offers original architecture, home industry and handicraft products, Sada Temple, prehistoric relief, tipat bantal’s – rice cake boiled in a rhombus-shaped packet of plaited young coconut leaves – war traditional, and the last one is Munggu village with Makotek tradition and handicraft products.

Meanwhile, the head of Badung Cultural and Tourism Institution, I Made Subawa when confirmed separately confessed that his party has already thought about those villages road infrastructure. He said that his party has conducted some coordination who will manage road infrastructure management.

Besides, in the next 2010 budgetary expense has budgeted road repairing at those tourism villages area. Subawa admitted there are still lots of other obstacles in the development of those tourism villages. Especially in relationship with the local people ability considering management, tourism habitual and culture that is still inadequate. Subawa added as for promotional steps his party in coordination with hotel or villa management and travel agent. For instance, when there is fully booked condition, the tourists is lead to utilize local people house at that tourism villages’ area.

We had coordinated. Moreover, it indeed needs immediate repairing, as soon as possible. For other obstacle, we will conduct several continuous tourism training.
