PT Garuda Indonesia cooperates with tourism travel agent in producing “Tirtha Yatra” packet for spiritual trip into Mount Salak in Bogor that will get through Jakarta. The ticket cost for about two million Rupiah.

“Flight from Denpasar-Jakarta, round trip flight, for this packet will be started in the night as well as covering the minimum amount of passengers toward that domestic destination,” said General Manager of PT Garuda Indonesia Denpasar, Bagus Y Siregar when contacted by ANTARA in Denpasar on Wednesday.

He confessed that “Tirta Yatra” packet precisely could raise number of passengers’ night flight up to load factor or for about 70 percent.

“Bali’s public interest in conducting spiritual trip is quite high moreover with the packet we made as well as the travel agent, it indeed could bring profit for the people and Garuda as well,” he said.

Besides making that kind of packet program, Garuda also give voucher for the agents who give such a great contribution for Garuda.

“We give them appreciation, in term of voucher so they will more active in selling our Garuda ticket,” as explained by Bagus Y Siregar who also the Senior GM Australia/SMW Garuda Indonesia.

Considering the international flight, Bagus Siregar stated that there is no any significant change or reduction.

“LF for international flight into the Island of God is stable, there is no noteworthy decrease after the New Year celebration,” he said.

He also confessed, that before Christmas and 2010 New Year celebration, Garuda flight went through high number. For about ten days, LF Garuda reached the highest point that was 100 percent. After January 5th LF domestic route back to its normal position, that is 80 percent.

“It reached its peak on December 2009 starting from December 26th until 31st,” said Bagus Siregar.
