PLN Said Sorry for the Unclear Blackout Schedule

January 9th, 2010

Until today blackout event still happened with unclear schedule. Due to that problem, PLN – National Electricity Company – said sorry and promised that they will fastening the maintaining process of PLTG Gilimanuk – Gas Power Electricity Generator – and will marked the ending of rotating blackout.

Some judged the unclear blackout schedule usually disturbing their activities at night since there is no socialization from PLN about their blackout schedule.

“Because we don’t know when they will conducted blackout and though we know the schedule usually not matched with the announcement,” said Wulan one of citizens in Tegalbadeng Village, Negara on Friday (January 8th) interview.

Though PLN had socialized it through newspaper and radio, Wulan criticize that it was not enough since not all of the people read newspaper and listening to the radio.

“They should told us when we paid the electrical fee, PLN should socialized it first,” she complained.

Wulan also judged that PLN had broke their promise about ended their blackout on December 6th.

“But until today it always ‘petzz’ died.” She said.

“We wished for PLN to fulfill their promise because if we late paid the electricity expense then they will sealed it. If it possible for PLN, they should compensate the people for that rotating blackout, we already paid the electrical expense but it still ‘petz’,” she added.

Meanwhile, the director of PLN of Java-Bali Operation, IGA Ngurah Adnyana when met at PLTG Gilimanuk on Friday (January 8th) said his sorry for the people in Bali.

His party promised that they will try maximally to end this rotating blackout.

“Rotating blackout in some part of Bali area happened several months ago and recently will end soon as we fastening our maintaining process toward PLTG Gilimannuk,” he explained.

If there is no obstacle at all, said Adnyana, that PLTG maintaining with 130 Mega Watt capacity will end today, Friday (January 8th) or a week ahead from schedule that is on next Friday, January 15th.
“If there is no Obstacle, then we can finish the maintaining process today and hoped for the next two or three days the electricity will back into normal,” he explained.
