Malaysian tourist visits Bali during January-November 2009 period was 120.199 people, it increase 5.99 percent compared with the same period last year.
Malaysian and Australian are two from ten countries who become the major tourist supplier for Bali and every month indicates escalation, as been said be the Head of Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) in Bali – Central Statistic Department – Ida Komang Wisnu, on Tuesday.
Our neighbor country is in fourth position in rank after Australia, Japan and China, for their arrival into Bali.
Malaysian contributes 5.56 percent from the total amount of tourists came into Bali or in other word, it was 2.16 million people during that period.
That number showed 13.31 escalation compared with the same period last year which merely 1.9 million people.
Ida Komang added that from the top ten countries who supplied tourist to Bali, six of them increased significantly and the other four get declined.
Those six countries are Malaysia as well as China for 58.93 percent followed by Australia for 39.05 percent, 47,23 percent from France, England for 12.44 percent, Holland for 21.34 percent and other countries was 12.89 percent.
Meanwhile, for the four countries who get decrease are Japan for 4.51 percent, South Korea 7.31 percent, eight percent for Taiwan and 4.20 for Germany.
