Around 30 expressions from Balinese figures become the main attention of Komaneka Fine Art Gallery’s visitors, at Monkey Forest, Ubud Gianyar on Tuesday night (March 2). Leaders whose face familiar in Bali become the shooting lens object of nine international photographers incorporated in XXV.

Around 20 pictures exhibited at the gallery wall with interesting nuances. “All of the exhibition activity was began from March 2nd and will end on March 12th with Bali Portraits as its theme,” Komang W. Suteja, the owner of Komaneka Art Gallery.

Bali figures that become the object of this exhibition come from cultural, traditional, painting, writer, press background and more other Balinese figures. Bali figures were chosen as the object, according to Indra Leonardi, one of XXV photographers is due to the their mutual idea in XXV which is in their annual conference in Bali.

The theme for that exhibition just flowed naturally when XXV photographers, Marcus Bell (Australia), Petter Dyer (England), Hansong Fong (USA), Indra Leonardi (Indonesia), Curt Lihlecolt (USA), Susan Michel (USA), Ralp Romoguera (USA), Paul Skipwarth (USA), and Vicki Toufer (USA) saw the beauty of Bali Island. This island in the world point of view is a tourism island as it is the center of culture loved by lots of tourists.
