Cheap Market for Denpasar Anniversary made it up to 250 Million Rupiah
Products sales at the cheap market that was held in order to celebrate the eighteenth birthday of Denpasar City reached more than 250 million Rupiah.
“It signify that the cheap market existence responded positively by the people. As far as this market also attract foreign tourists whom happened to be there,” said the Manager of Koperasi Pegawai Negeri (KPN) Dharma Wiguna Denpasar, I Gusti Ngurah Gede Suyasa on Thursday.
He said that since the opening on Tuesday (March 2) the nine stands of primary commodity keep become the belle. Due to the primary commodity the staff could gained around thirty to thirty-five million Rupiah per day.
Strong public interest in buying cheap primary commodity, he said since the price is accordance with distributor price.
“I keep urge the seller to sell their products cheaper than sales in ordinary market,” said Suyasa.
He elaborated the result of cheap market selling on Tuesday that was more than Rp 118 million. Then, on the next day, Wednesday (March 3) the sales rate reached more than Rp 132 million.
“Selling total for two days since the opening of cheap market the revenue reached more than Rp 250 million,” he said.
Cheap market implementation held routinely each year and become the icon of Denpasar annual anniversary. The sellers spirit in this cheap market also great.
“We could see their spirit through the opening hour that was starting from 08.00 a.m. up to 11.00 p.m. This cheap market will end on Saturday (March 6),” he said.
Suayasa also uttered that in order to watch the quality of goods sold at the cheap market, his party confessed that supervisor team consists of six people has been formed divided into two shifts.
“We do not want only at the opening they offered good quality products. We want the existence of that product in balance until the day of it closing on March 6,” he said.
The implementation of this cheap market according to Suyasa is aim to serve the society and KPN Dharma Wiguna members. Meanwhile the head of Tiara Grosir marketing, Ida Bagus Ketut Diatmika confessed that primary products selling rate at the cheap market received public positive respond.
“If latter the people bought the same product at the shop the price has raise compared with those at this market,” said Diatmika.
Diatmika admitted that the total selling per day reached more than Rp 30 million.
“Here we want our costumers’ satisfaction. If the costumers feels satisfied of course it will triggers good impression,” said Diatmika.
