Some tourism packet welcoming Hindu’s holy day of Nyepi celebrates on March 16th has been prepared by hotel and resort industry management in Bali and Lombok, so the tourists could enjoy their holiday maximally. From the information gathered by Antara, it is known that their tourism packet promotion program was called “Nyepi Hideaway Beachfront Resort Packages.” It is mentioned that Lombok as Bali neighbor also offer $ 200 US packet for four nights at Gili Trawangan Oceanfront Room.

Meanwhile, $ 250 US packet is for three nights at Legian Beach Oceanfront Rooms. Another same packet was at German Beach Oceanfront Suites in Bali too as it is offered for $ 300 AS intended for four nights. All of that promotion packet can be ordered by the prospective guests few days before Nyepi.

Besides lodging package welcoming Holy Day of Nyepi, one interior and accessories company in Bali, Mimpi Manis, offered one promotion packet for bedroom goods, living room and any other household goods.

According to Mimpi Manis, “All packets have export quality and had been integrated one to another. So, the customer could adjust it with their needs. We also willingly give advice if needed.” In the meantime, Tingkat Penghunian Kamar (TPK) – Room Occupancy Rate – of stars hotel in Bali averagely 53.21 percent during January 2010 and it get decreased 6.45 percent compared with December 2009 that reached 59.66 percent.

That condition raised 0.28 days compared with the tourists stayed on December 2009 that was 3.33 days. Escalation happened in all stars hotel, one star hotels raised 1.34 percent, two stars hotel raised 0.81 percent, three stars hotels with 0.01 percent, four stars hotels 0.77 percent and five stars hotels for 0.06 percent.

Meanwhile, room occupancy rate of non star hotel averagely was 31.98 percent where the highest rate for about 43.83 percent in Badung regency and the lowest ones was Karangasem with merely 15.74 percent, said Ida Komang Wisnu.
