In the first meeting in a special discussion in concern with street switching name from Jalan Astina Selatan, Tampaksiring into Jalan Raya Soekarno.

Besides socializing it with the people, Wedakarna continued, the plan is, today on Tuesday (March 20) his party will meet with Gianyar Regent, Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati.

“We will talk about this problem to the Gianyar Regent, according to the plan we will accepted in his official house,” said Wedakarna.

Sukmawati Soekarno Putri herself when asked confirmation in relation with this issue confessed that he had already coordinated with her siblings.

“We had coordinated with our siblings, for today who knows this only Guruh Soekarno Putra, but we definitely sure that our other siblings will support this plan. Moreover in order to preserve the great name of our nation father, I think there will be no problem at all,” said Sukma after attending the meeting.

According to Sukmawati, Tampaksiring has been chosen since this area has historical relationship with Bung Karno. One of attached historical inheritance is Tampaksiring.

“Tampaksiring Palace never can be free from Bung Karno figure, it suits for this area become the location for his statue, museum as well as Jalan Raya Sukarno,” she said.
