Member of Dewan Perwakilan Daerah (DPD) – Regional Delegation Council – I Wayan Sudirta keep give his support for Bali provincial government to all parties fighting for otonomi khusus (otsus) – special autonomy – in Bali until it succeed.

“I’m ready for that fighting involvement, until Otsus suggestion in the hand of determine officials,” said Sudirta in Denpasar on Friday.

He invites Bali provincial government and all Bali societies’ elements to keep fighting for otsus until it could realized.

“In struggle for something, never ending hard working is needed, as well as support from varied party hoped for it could bring any result,” Sudirta wished.

He confessed, Bali special autonomy team had presented it in front of Indonesian Republic Council but until today still no decision concerning the issue.

“Still, it couldn’t weaken our struggling, instead we could use it in order to perfecting special autonomy suggestion until it becoming true,” hoped Wayan Sudirta who had Bali people believed in him as he was two periods DPD-RI council member.

He judged, Bali special autonomy struggle suits for Bali art and cultural maintenance and preservation, so the tourists would not get bored even if they had come several times to the island.

Thus, special autonomy fight for Bali still in NKRI – Republic of Indonesia Unitary – embrace that for all long given to several regencies in Indonesia.

Ida Bagus Sideman, a historian and cultural observer, in a separated occasion explained, foreign researcher and cultural observer had recorded Bali historical journey from ages since Bali still conducted activity through archeology artifact such as nekara – kettledrum – up to 21st century. That record pour into books that indirectly introduced Bali into international world. From big tradition up to very small life lived by Balinese is interested to learn and reveal.

Research and study about Bali will keep moving, done by professional from either Indonesia or Foreigners.
Almost all of the people in the world believe Bali has uniqueness as a civilization and unique culture as they able to gain acculturation while keep maintaining its uniqueness.

Bali uniqueness could maintained due to Bali ability itself in making improvement without harming others in the middle of NKRI circle, said Ida Bagus Sideman.
