Badung regency as central of tourism in Bali is looking for candidate as to hold PHRI chairperson figure in order to follow a vote at branch meeting scheduled on April 13, 2010 at Discovery Kartika Plaza, Kuta.

First Secretary for Branch Meeting Committee for Perhimpunan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia (PHRI) Badung – Hotel and Restaurant Association – Ni Made Eka Maha Dewi in Denpasar on Sunday night, hoped for lots of tourism industrial parties would have enough interest to become part of that organization management.

“If there are lots of people nominate themselves, of course the best will be chosen as the chairperson. But in order to nominate themselves, there are several conditions should be fulfilled,” he said to ANTARA.

Branch Meeting of PHRI Badung would elect a chairperson and complete management for 2010-2015 period. According to the plan, there will be 350 people among owner/entrepreneur, leader, and local hotel workers besides PHRI Bali members.

The committee for Branch Meeting of PHRI Badung head, Ismoyo Soemarlan, that is also head of Bali Villa Association (BVA), said that among the conditions was the candidate should domicile in Bali.

According to Eka Maha Dewi, according to the agreeable conditions, the nominator should bring their healthy statement letter concerning their physiological and psychological information, good behavior as well as have high dedication to promote the organization and tourism itself.

The nominators for the chairperson are the owner or power holder of business entity that had been registered as a member of PHRI according to AD/ART and that business entity is located in Badung regency.
Had been or are currently serving as board of PHRI at Badan Pimpinan Cabang (BPC) – branch agency manager – Badan Pimpinan Daerah (BPD) – Regional agency manager – as well as Badan Pimpinan Pusat (BPP) – Central Agency Manager –

They should stating their willingness to become the nominator for head of BPC PHRI Badung 2010-2015 period written on a paper with Rp 6.000 stamp duty as well as delivering one exemplar of their vision and mission to the committee.

All condition should have accepted by organizing committee of BPC PHRI Badung at least on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 02.00 p.m. in BPD PHRI Bali of Bali Complex, Bali Tourism Board (BTB) Jalan Raya Puputan Renon, Denpasar.

Eka Maha Dewi who also the Second Secretary for BPD PHRI Bali and lecturer at Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata (STP) Jimbaran, hoped for the entrepreneur and hotel leader in Badung get interested in holding this position and advancing PHRI as well as local tourism.
