13 Canada Travel Agents Work On East Bali

There are 14 people from 13 Canada travel agents who visited Bali under the initiative of Indonesian Republic Embassy in Ottawa to probe the east part of Bali where the tourists does not much pay interest with.

As been delivered by the marketing director of Hai International Tour, Michel Lariviere, one of the biggest tour operator in Canada, in his press conference in Seminyak, Badung, on Monday. It is mentioned that the agent management from Canada would like to visit some tourism objects in East Bali that has not been widely probe.

“Bali is indeed still attract Canada tourists. The interesting point fall upon its culture and its people hospitality that hardly could be found in any other areas around the world,” he said.

Michel Lariviere said that travel agents in Canada never sell Bali from its beach point since there are many other beaches in other destination that are far more interesting.

This businessman who had visited Indonesia for more than 15 times confessed his gratitude toward Indonesian Republic Embassy in Ottawa, “This is our first cooperation with Indonesian Embassy, we hope that we could build positive cooperation continuously in the future,” he said.

Before visiting Bali, the group that also cooperates with local agent “Bali Impression” had visited several tourism objects in Bandung, West Java as well as Candi Borobudur and Prambanan in Middle Java.

The manager for 13 travel agents arrived in Bali on Monday (April 26) and scheduled to get back into their homeland on May 2nd.

Marketing Director for Bali Impression, Wayan Suena said that those thirteen travel agents all this time had sold some Indonesian destinations as well as Bali.

“With their presence in Bali we hope that tourists visiting from Canada to Indonesia, especially into Bali will keep raising,” he said.

Wayan Suena feels optimists through his cooperation with travel agents from Canada as well as positive support from Indonesian Embassy in Ottawa could increase tourists visiting from that country.
