Two airways companies, Transaero and Aeroflot which used Boeing 747 series 400 from Russia adding their track to Ngurah Rai Bali. Flight into Bali conducted directly from Russia Airport Demo Dedovo.

All this time the charter flight to Russia is only once in a week to Bali, but with the cooperation between Indonesian Republic and Russia makes there is additional flight schedule up to three times a week. Thus makes Russian airways could regularly seen on Indonesian sky especially Bali soon after the schedule authorization permitted.

This Red Bear country is a country full of conflict. But now the condition was change 360 degrees. Most people in that country prosper already. Even in the last five years lots of Russian citizen doing trip to varied countries, including Indonesia (Bali). The flight would be on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. In those three trips to Bali, number of passenger are around 300-350 people.

“Flight from Russian Airport to Ngurah Rai Bali Airport now three times a week, before there was merely once a week flight,” Assistance Manager of Legal and PR of Angakasa Pura I co., I. M. Dimyati said, Monday (May 3rd).

In relation with Ngurah Rai Airpor preparation when accepted Russian plane, Dimyati stating that airport runway width at Ngurah Rai International airport is 3.000 m x 45 m so there will be no problem at all.

According to Dimyati, the travel length from Demodedovo Russia Airport to Ngurah Rai international airport is around 12 hours without transit. Meanwhile, the additional flight for Russia-Bali realized after the meeting between Indonesian delegations led by the Ministry of Air Transport Director, Tri S. Sunoko with Russian delegation agreed with the draft for Air Service Agreement (ASA) as a mother agreement concerning air transportation cooperation and scheduled flight regulation between the two countries held in Russia from April 29 – 30, 2010.

Tri Sunoko, as reported from Kompas.com said, on the next December, Transaero and Aeroflot would flight in schedule. For all along, Transaero only flight twice to Indonesia that was once as charter airways and twice to Denpasar in a week.

He explained, in frequency and capacity regulation, each airline at their respective countries flight frequently fourteenth times a week. Route management fix for Indonesia covers Jakarta, Denpasar, Solo and Manado and for Russia is Moscow, Vladivostok, St Petersburg and Novosibirsk.

“Both countries agreed for each pointed airways could used their transport right while cooperated with corporate partner parties,” Tri Sunoko confessed.

He explained that the flight cooperation not only for passenger transportation marketing but also for cargo transportation. The cargo transportation itself will be conducted by each country’s air transportation companies for thrice a week.
