The performance of Badung firefighters viewed not maximal yet. This is due to the two fire happened in Kuta recently, assessed by many parties that due to their half preparation, it triggered the lost generally could be prevented. Besides, the firefighter fleet was also considered problematic.

Addressing the problem, commission B of Badung Council planned to inspect as well as conduct meeting with Badung Firefighter agency to explaine and finding solution for the problems they face all along.
Head of Badung Council Commission B, I Putu Parwata contacted on Sunday (May 16) yesterday said that his party viewed Badung firefighter rapid reaction not work maximum yet toward two fire events happened in Kuta recently.

He confessed, Kuta is a dense area and quite difficult for rapid-fire anticipation. But, Parwata said that the official should have anticipated that problem through special strategy formulation in that area. It is not only problem in Badung fire fighter agency but also in its fleet affectivity.

Meanwhile, Vice Commission, I Gusti Anom Gumanti separately stated that fire handling happened in Kuta recently still slow. This problem influenced tourism image since Kuta is vital part of Badung tourism especially Bali in general. Thus, his party in Commission B needs to check the infrastructure of Badung firefighter agency.

Toward the problems exist, he signaling will inspect meeting with the firefighters agency in order to find solution. “For instance if we need repairmen then we have to conduct it soon. Or we could prepare fleet stand by at Kuta district Office. We are ready to support every efforts in improving disaster management quality in Badung,” he said.
