Bali provincial government prepared fund assistance for Junior High operational who will continue their education to Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) – vocational high school – The fund dedicated only for poor family will be given three years full starting from this new educational school year. Each student will receive Rp 10 million per year.
Bali Governor, Made Mangku Pastika in his statement in Kreneng, Wednesday (May 26) confessed that fund assistance for education operational not only to help students from poor family but also in order to spur Junior High spirit to continued their education into Vocational High.
Moreover, with the recent condition showed that 60 percent of Junior High tend to continued it to High School whether in the future the government targeted that 60 percent High School students would continued their educational year in Vocational High.
“In the future we hope that there will be 60 percent SMK and 40 percent High School so the student could competing in finding job,” said Bali Governor.
Bali Governor, Made Mangku Pastika added that through this education operational fund assistance, he hope in the future there will be no student who are not graduate from High School level in Bali.
Besides SMK, the provincial government in Bali also gives education operational assistance to student in SMU – High School – level who comes from poor family.
High School would receive Rp 800.000 per person per month meanwhile SMK will receive Rp 1.000.000 per person per month.
