Serikat Pekerja Pariwisata (SP Par) Bali suggested for Bali Governor to set minimum wage for tourism sector in Bali. This is due to the minimum wage for those who works in tourism sector in Bali always paid in accordance with the regional minimum wages which values far from the standard for those who work in tourism sector.

Daily Chairman for Serikat Pekerja Pariwisata Bali – Bali Tourism Worker Union – Putu Satyawira delivered the survey for the needs of decent living, then the minimum standard wage for tourism worker minimal IDR 1.3 million. But in fact, the minimum wage for those work at tourism sector is IDR 800.000 to IDR 1.000.000

According to Putu Satyawira, the more disappointing condition that the tourism businessmen inserting the tourists incentive for the workers as part of their fee.
