Meeting of 32nd Pesta Kesenian Bali (PKB) – Balinese Art Festival – in 2010 adopt theme “Sharmatula Subhaprawretiti” that is considering wise step involving at least not less than 150 delegations from various element.

“That activity takes place on July 2nd in the middle of artisans’ party in Bali,” said the committee coordinator for PKB, I Ketut Arcana in Denpasar, Tuesday.
He says the meeting invites number of speakers with members comes from artisan, historian, college and any other related institutions have relation with eight regencies and one major city in Bali.

That activity is a forum for studying, to apprehensive and dialoging the ethic, logic and practice philosophy in accordance with PKB theme that is “sudamala” explore the purity of conscience.

Ketut Arcana explains the meeting as one of five PKB agendas. Those covers cultural parade, exhibition, competition as well as household and small industry exhibition.

PKB will be held for one month, starting from June 12 to July 10. In this event there will be 180 performance by art delegations from eight regencies and one major city in Bali.

Besides, there are 12 art groups from varied areas in Indonesia and nine foreign art delegations.

Art team from outside Bali take part in this festival comes from East Java, Riau, West Sulawesi, Gorontalo, West Kalimantan, Tangerang, West Jakarta, Magelang and Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT).

In addition to art team for the festival, there is also team from Middle Lombok, Lingga Regency and North Jakarta. The performance schedule have been arrange in such a way as the performance also showing the pieces from eight regencies and one major city in Bali.

Meanwhile, those come as foreign art teams are from United State of America, India, Sweden, Japan, Canada and France says Ketut Arcana.
