32nd Pesta Kesenian Bali – Bali Art Festival – will be held on June 12 to July 10. President RI Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono planned will open this festival.

RI President arrival, explained by Head of Bali Cultural Agency, Ida Bagus Sedawa on Thursday (June 9) when met with Kapolda Bali Irjen Pol Sutisna says that his party had asked from Bali Police in concern with president arrival, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. PKB opening itself will take place at Badung Puputan Field Denpasar.

In relation with PKB condition, Ida Bagus Sedawa says that the condition nowadays is different with previous years. The recent PKB festival is not allowed hawkers entering PKB area. Instead of disturbing PKB they will be place in certain stand at the back of the festival takes place.

“This is according to the Bali Governor request who did not allowed those hawkers selling,” he confessed.
PKB committee, he said, had already prepared for posts so police could guard this festival. The posts placed outside and inside PKB area. There are not merely police guarding the festival but also pecalang and local people involved in forming stable security.

After a meeting with Kapolda, he said that his party will involve 500 personnel to guard this festival.
“We involved 500 personnel there,” he said.

Concerning security issue around PKB, Kapolda suggested that everything run in order. Parking location for two and four vehicles should have more concern so there will be no theft.

“We should aware. If anything happen it’s the police who will be blame, whether in fact we had conduct security in that area,” he asserted to beritabali.com
