RSUD Badung – Badung Regional Hospital – reorganization plan into an international hospital as well as tourism hospital viewed it as a strategic thing to do in order to raise health quality service. Although people from Badung Regional Council also warned the government not to neglecting health quality service exist today in the realization process of that plan. Badung council also reminded the recent government not to sacrifice regional asset in futile.

Head of Comission D Badung Council I Wayan Mendra, on Friday (June 18) said that even though the government finally proceeds to realize Badung Hospital reorganization project, the government could not neglecting health service for the community, which has running all this time. It is means that there is solution needed so people in Badung could continuing achieving health service from this hospital.

Head of Commission C I Nyoman Satria also voicing the same thing, the government needs to think of solution for the people in Badung not to lose any health service. Thus, Satria confessed his disagreement toward bleaching discourse for RSUD Badung. RSUD Badung reorganization should have been done through asset synergy. “There is no need to bleaching or eradication our existing asset. If it is true that RSUD Badung will be reorganized into an international hospital, at least the project is run for multi years. If not then where Badung people will get their health service?” he said.

Satria reminded that RSUD Badung development should have goes through thorough research study. Perhaps starting from location point of view, the development could takes place around RSUD Badung today, it is no need to destroying the existed building. “If we stick with this plan then research study is needed in order to know, is the south or east land of this hospital can be utilized, instead of destroying building existed today,” said Satria.

It is said that until today Commission C charge for asset problem still not received any information yet from the related institutions concerning RSUD Badung reorganization plan. Clearly, he said, if there is RSUD Badung asset bleaching plan, or any smallest regional asset, it should go through Badung Council agreement. “Asset bleaching needs council agreement. That is why census committee should be formed also,” he asserted.

Mendra added concerning International Hospital location in Badung latter that there will be world institution that specifically examine is the location has been appropriate or not. “There is world institution that will examine the strategic location of this hospital,” said this Democrat politician.
