Badung Council would not stay calm toward the assumption of human trafficking happened to five Balinese girls in Malaysia. Shortly, Badung council would called five related party especially the responsible manager of Nadhi Wisata Educational Tourism Training Institution Mengwitani (Nadhi Wisata PLP Mengwitani). There even an urge from the council to close the institution if they have no authorization.

Badung Council as Badung people representative is regretting this human trafficking case. The council called upon Republic of Indonesia government through RI embassy in Kuala Lumpur to conduct some legal acts in accordance with the applicable law and procedures.

Badung Council vice head, I Ketut Suiasa, on Tuesday (July 27) says that aside from called PLP party the council also planned to invite the victims and their family. The same with government element that will come from Badung Educational, Youth and Sport Agency as well as Badung Social and Men Power Agency.
“It because we want to know the problem and what happened actually so we could decide the culprit who should responsible for this case,” he said firmly.

He said that trafficking problem is not a minor problem. The issue has relationship with national and local esteem. Trafficking is form of self-pride abuse and generally also stand as an abuse toward human pride. “Thus, we want it to be clarified as soon as possible. Indonesia government should conduct legal acts,” he said.

Moreover, he continued that that kind of effort is very important to avoid any effort or behavior of belittling the utilization of Indonesian men-power resource in foreign countries. This could become the specter as well as bad precedent for educational institution or training institution in the future. If it left just like that then there will be public confidence decline to send labor to foreign countries.

Member of commission A Badung Council, I.B. Sunartha said that PLP Nadhi Wisata is clearly has no authorization. Therefore, Badung Regional Government should close that institution. “That institution has stated as an illegal institution. It is clear for that institution not to operate again unless they completed all of authorization required. There is no way for the existence of authorization valid for life,” he asserted.

Meanwhile, head of Badung Social and Men Power Agency, Tjokorda Ngurah Bagus confessed that his party found indication for that labor training institution has no standard curriculum. Thus, his party would immediately check the curriculum and labor send-off procedure in that institution.
