Australian Tourist Ignored “Travel Advisory”

The travel advisory warning from Australia government through Department of Foreign and Trade (DFAT) after the taxi’ chaos in Bali did not decrease the number of coming Australian tourists. The head of Bali Tourism named Ida Bagus Subhiksu explained the significant increase of visit Australian tourist is in the period of January until July 2010. It is reached more than 300.000 tourists prefer than the same period last year. The easy access made Australia tourist conclude Bali as their second home. “In the other side, Australia government surveyed the security of Bali sensitively,” he said.

I.B. Subhiksu also added if the tourist from another country such as Taiwan, British, Singapore and Holland also increased. Even the tourist from Singapore increased 56 percent in that period.

The owner of Puri Saron Hotel named Dr. I Ketutu Putra Suarthana, M.M. also said if this increase beyond the last prediction. The kinds of facts like travel advisory, the travel warning, the demonstration of taxi driver and also the treat of rabies until now did not influence their visit into Bali.
