Bali provincial government, in the next two year ahead targeting will have detail plan about the utilization of coastal area layout or coastal zoning.

Zoning is important, especially for the coastal area in Bali considering the area are usually exploit for the development of marine tourism.

It also used in order to avoid any interest conflict happened among those who have marine tourism business, fishermen and underwater territory preservation party.

Head of Bali Environmental Bureau, Anak Agung Sastrawan in his statement after his social activity of cleaning the plastic waste at Buleleng Port stated the detail plan for coastal area utilization that still in drafting process. The plan is still waiting for the revision from the regional layout arrangement due to the coastal area layout will become part of respective regional layout arrangement.

“It tend to become regional responsibility since it has entering the detail layout arrangement and territorial of the territory detail arrangement,” Anak Agung Sastrawan said.

Head of Bali Provincial Environmental Bureau, Anak Agung Sastrawan hope that with coastal zoning would make the development of coastal area in Bali develop into a continuous development.

Moreover with varied of marine tourism packet develop in Bali would demand detail and clear zoning allotment.
