Head of Bali Forestry Agency, Anak Agung Buana said that Bali Provincial government in the next five years ahead has been prepared 86 billion Rupiah for reforestation project.

That fund is dedicated to the reforestation of barren and critical land spread all around Bali, he said in Denpasar, Tuesday.

He mentioned that the area width prioritize for the fund is 25.348 hectare, spread in all regencies and city in Bali.

“We targeting the width area planted stage by stage for five years, at least we could planted five thousand hectare per year. This target has been calculated in such a way due to the reforestation will used provincial budget and targeted will reached 500-700 hectare per year,” he said.

Meanwhile the width of the forest planted with central government budget is 3.000-5.000 hectare per year. The reforestation will be conducted in protected forest area, outside the protected forest area including within it is also the forest in village territory.

It I said that for private area of area belong to individual ownership, the government also has prepared free seeds. It is means that the people who have barren forest area and want to replanted it again with trees could take the seed for free.
