Mabes Polri β Indonesian Police Central Base β determined Bali as one of area in Indonesia considered having main priority and security during Lebaran aside from Java and Lampung.
Bali considered as one of area receive security priority is due to the area that become the target for tourism during holiday.
Head of Bali Police Public Relationship in his statement in Denpasar (August 5) stated that in order to secure the annual influx and Lebaran holiday, Bali Police had prepare 1.700 personnel spread in all regencies/city in Bali including at the tourism objects in Bali.
Sugianyar asserted that in secure the flow of annual influx and tourism objects, Bali Police will more highlighting uniformed officers so the tourists will feel safe during their holiday in Bali.
βIt is true that the police officers in uniform in order to conduct preventive effort would maximize it with patrol units,β explained Gde Sugianyar.
Sugianyar confessed that Bali Police has inventorying prone areas in term of traffic jam or criminality.
Those prone areas are Kuta, Tanah Lot, Ubud, Sanur and Nusa Dua.
