			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Subak has been set as one of UNESCO’s world heritages is kind of giving a high and heavy challenge for Bali in general and Gianyar specifically in keeping it preserved. It was revealed in the inauguration of Subak epigraph’s The Cultural Landscape of Bali Province in Tirta Empul Temple Tampaksiring Gianyar.<span id="more-2303"></span></p>
<p>Subak in Gianyar received got acknowledgment as the Cultural Landscape of Bali Province by UNESCO on its 36th Assemble in Tavritcheski Palace. St. Petersburg Russia on June 29th 2012. Therefore, UNESCO team represented by director of UNESCO’s World Heritage Centre Kishore Rao accompanied by Vice Minister of Education and Cultural Wiendu Nuryati inaugurated Subak epigraphy.</p>
<p>Vice Minister of Education and Culture Wiendu Nuryati said that the acknowledgement for Subak as the world heritage proven high spirit in preserving harmony between the relationship between God, human and nature in Tri Hita Karana concept.</p>
<p>Tri Hita Karana concept adopted for thousands of years hope could contribute to natural and cultural preservation. Wiendu Nuryati added that the acknowledgment of Subak as the World Heritage is an honor after 12 years of struggle. This establishment is also stand as another challenge and another struggle and further fight for government and local people to keep protecting and preserving subak.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Gianyar Regent said that as the region where Subak acknowledged due to its preserved Tri Hita Karana concept, the government will put their highest concern in protecting this thousand of years’ culture in Bali especially since international world has put their eyes on it.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Medical Faculty of Udayana University this year will allocate full scholarship for 25 new students who did good performances but coming from underprivileged families. “Within this college scholarship, we wished it will encourage smart teenagers in our region to keep learning for their idea,” said Dean Assistant III of Medical Faculty Udayana Dr dr Dyah Pradnyaparamita Duarsa MSi in Denpasar on Monday.<span id="more-2136"></span></p>
<p>She delivered this statement when she was being speaker in an event themed “Kerta Dissemination Wisdom, Extension Program of Scholarship Access for Student’ Candidate” in local campus. “Later there are 15 students who getting full scholarship through crossing subsidy from our faculty while the other ten students paid by Bali Government,” said her.</p>
<p>Scholarship program for those students, said dr Mita, is not the first time to apply. “We mentioned it PSPD scholarship. Each year we allocate 15 scholarship but during this time it is not fully enough due to the students were passing tight selection under fixed requirements,” said him. Meanwhile Bali Government is promising to give full scholarship as much as Rp175 million for each student who receives the scholarship.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>About 20 schools are taking part in the competition of school magazine to the three levels of Bali Province 2011. It held by Bali Convention Event Exhibition Center Nusa Dua in Cultural Park Denpasar, Bali on Thursday. The participants consist of seven junior high schools (SMP), 13 senior high schools and vocational schools from any regions in Bali.<span id="more-2127"></span></p>
<p>Jury team did assessment base on theme, graphic design, grammar, photography, editorial, magazine content and the value of both esthetics and cultural. Three students from each school describing the process of magazine arrangement that involving a team of students from related school and its production process until the magazine is ready to circulate. School magazine competition has held annually and this time is the third. According to a committee Putu Sriawan, each participant has showing significant development due to published school magazine is showing high quality content whether its design or its content.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Head of Region Office Religion Ministry Bali Drs. IGAK Suthayasa, M.Si wished regency/city government in Bali hiring teacher for Hindu religion subject. Now there are only 5,000 teachers of Hindu religion subject from the total of 9,000 teachers needed. “We are trying hard but the authority of hiring religion teacher is in the hands of region government,” said him yesterday (26/10).<span id="more-2012"></span></p>
<p>He said his side had coordinated with regional government while it is supported by real condition in Bali about the amount of students and teachers. “We wished this data can be foundation for regional government in taking policy of Hindu religion teacher hiring in Bali,” said him. Fulfillment of teacher necessity, said him, is so important due to few years later many Hindu religion teachers will retire. Further each pasraman (nonformal institution of Hindu religion education) in villages will filled by Hindu Religion teachers.</p>
<p>“Young generation response to be Hindu Religion teacher is actually good enough as it marked by increasing students amount significantly in each universities in Bali for Hindu religion subject. Now we are only waiting the commitment of regional government,” said him. Suthayasa said the lack of religion teacher is not only happening in Bali but also in any provinces of Indonesia. Biggest need is in Bali especially for its elementary school.</p>

<p>After having hymn song, now SMAN 2 Denpasar (Resman) citizen has greatness dance of Maha Bhagawati. This greatness dance showed last night in ISI Denpasar stage in a cultural performance of Resman.<span id="more-2004"></span></p>
<p>Maha Bhagawati dance is creative idea of SMAN 2 Denpasar headmaster, Drs. Ketut Sunartha, M.Hum that poured in an art work and obligatory dance that should perform in important event of this school. The choreographer is Tjokorda Istri Putra Padmini, S.ST., M.Sn., accompaniment arranger is I Made Semara Jaya, S.Sn., the accompaniment coordinator of alumni Resman Ketut Purwanta and gerong arranger is Ni Nyoman Nik Suasti, S.Sn.</p>
<p>Last Saturday, Maha Bhagawati dance played by Resman students such as Wira Adi Armaeni, I Wayan Yuli Anggreni, Putu Sintya Meitriani, Ayu Dek Ira Roshita Dewi, Putu Irayani, A.A. Inten Sakanti, Ni Wayan Gita Iswari and Ni Putu Mega Dian Lestari. Drummers and gerong brought by Resman students. It also covers any kinds of modern art and classic art that brought by Resman students. Ketut Sunarta said he has been dreamt to have greatness dance for SMAN 2 Denpasar. This dance planned to perform in latest Resman anniversary but it stumbled by dance making time. In the other side students are enthusiast in exercising this dance.</p>
<p>Through this greatness dance, it wished to pump spirit of SMAN 2 Denpasar citizen. It is also expressing emotional behavior will result failure and regret. Further it needs calm and humble character of Larasati Goddess in solving any problems. Larasati Goddess won archery competition with Srikandi due to Srikandi failed pushing her emotion. Maha Bhagawati dance, said Ketut Sunartha, also being part of Resman citizen activity to care about Bali cultural preservation and supporting Denpasar as cultural city. The importance thing is school citizen are able to understanding and applying wisdom and humble character during their life. He said it is fitted with the school motto: Widya ya pradnyan praptu mahi. It means we can get wisdom through acknowledgment.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Art Institute Indonesia Denpasar represents Indonesia to take part in international photograph competition by SEAMEO SPAFA in Bangkok on upcoming 2012. “This Southeast Asia competition will follow by participants of 11 SEAMEO countries such as Indonesia, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Burma, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and East Timor,” said the Head of Photography program of Fine Art and Design Faculty (FSRD) ISI Denpasar I Komang Arba Wirawan, S.Sn MSi with Public Relation Division Dewi Yulianti in Denpasar on Sunday.<span id="more-1964"></span></p>
<p>He said this activity themed “Our Heritage” as it hoped able to born reliably young photographer. The young photographer pushed to perform high quality works such as historical places, art, jewelry, cloth, dance, theater, music, and instrument. Photography program including to the youngest program in this institution as it has held mature preparation to couple all of students who were interested to follow this international competition.</p>
<p>Rector ISI Denpasar Prof Dr I Wayan Rai S had given instruction to the head of the program study, FSRD Dean, and students who will follow this competition. Two students of Photography program ISI Denpasar, De Vira Puspita and Bayu Juniartha confessed have prepared for this competition. “We are doing the best while we believe it will contribute good result due to it is our chance to show best performance,” said Vira Puspita.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Art Institute Indonesia (ISI) Denpasar again performed cultural art Bali when this group held a visit to University of Western Australia (UWA) in Perth, Australia for a week in the end of September. “ISI Denpasar group composed by 25 people. It consists of lecturers and students,” said Rector ISI Denpasar Prof Dr I Wayan Rai in Denpasar on Wednesday.<span id="more-1955"></span></p>
<p>According to him, this visit is being one of cooperation form between both campus. This cooperation had signed in February 2010. There are 22 UWA students who were learning for two weeks in ISI Denpasar campus to learn about Bali culture and were watching religious activity of Balinese people. ISI Denpasar in its visit performs cultural art Bali and also presenting about the activity of this institution.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Bali Citra International Foundation plays its role as one of foundation that dabbling in Education and Spa Training Institution. This year this foundation again trusted as national pilot project below the supervision of 14 Ministry of Indonesia. Bali Citra International Foundation (BCI) holds competency test spa on October 4-5, 2011 while it is cooperated with Course Directorate and General Directorate of Informal and Formal Training of National Education Ministry. This spa competency test followed by 100 participants.<span id="more-1953"></span></p>
<p>Director of Bali Citra International Ni Made Rai Anggreani, S.H. said this competency test also coupled with graduation of BCI students to work in industry world. “Pilot project of first stage followed by 50 participants. This year its amount increases into 100 participants even our spa therapist had stated to pass the competency test. Now there are 18 persons in document process. Later they will place in international market especially South Africa, Dubai, and Maldives. Rests of them are testing as entrepreneur of home spa while half others apprenticed in some industries. When the students are apprenticed, they had signed working contract per 1 October 2011,” said her.</p>
<p>Rai Anggraeni also said other superiority of BCI is always applying education methodology with education material that fitted with work necessity. Its competency basis is able to result professional spa workers besides having partner as apprentice site of their students. Therefore spa therapist of Bali Citra International Foundation had been 80% worked whether in this country or abroad. “We are always applying education with competency basis and nation character value foundation,” said her.</p>
<p>Further he said character value is emphasized due to Bali plays its role as world destination. Actually this test being a chance for hotel businessman in spa sector to look for spa therapist employees so the demand of professional worker spa in formal sector will increase year on year. In this chance the Head of PNFI Disdikpora Bali, Wayan Sudarsana is appreciating what had done by Bali Citra International Foundation during this time. He said BCI is able to taking chance of central government programs including poverty alleviation. One of its efforts is giving spa education and training while it is also being place of competency test especially for poor family. “Government can’t work alone to decrease unemployment numbers without partner like BCI,” said him.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Library, Archive, and Documentation Office (KPAD) Gianyar, Bali is preparing book mobile to encourage reading interest of people. “Library has important meaning as learning facility for young generation,” said the Head of Library, Archive, and Documentation (KPAD) Office Gianyar, Anak Agung Sri Marwati in Gianyar on Thursday.<span id="more-1908"></span></p>
<p>Encouraging reading interest amongst people, his side providing any facilities like book mobile, and borrowing books. Marwati said fulfilling this book provision, her side had prepared 17,711 books. Thousand books divide into 2,296 fiction books, 931 referential books, 1,647 kids books, and 12,855 non-fiction books.</p>

After opening campaign launching of “Biking Indonesia”, Assistant Deputy of Increasing Community Organization’ Role KLH Dodo Sambodo was welcoming Tunza conference in Kuta on Wednesday. The five colleges except Udayana are ITB (Technology Institute Bandung), UI (Indonesia University), Unair (Airlangga University), and IPB (Agriculture Institute Bogor).<span id="more-1904"></span></p>
<p>“This program held since 2000. We chose Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Jogjakarta as pilot project in that time,” said him. He explained in 2000 UGM forbids the usage of motor vehicles both two wheels and four wheels in campus area. “If 1,000 motors substitute with 1,000 bicycles or 100 cars substitutes into 100 bicycles, it will save 500 liters fuel daily,” said him. Dodo added this program targeting campus due to college area covers wide area and high mobility. “Senior High School has smaller area and low mobility,” said him.</p>
