Begawan Foundation established central conservation of jalak Bali birds as it is also celebrating the 23th anniversary of the return of this endemic animal in Banjar Saren, Abiansemal, Badung on Tuesday. The founder of Begawan Foundation Bradley T Gardner said this activity aimed to celebrate the official coming of 20 rare animals which were before collected in Koelner Zoo, Germany and three jalak Bali coming from Jurong Bird Park, Singapore.

“Indeed the birds have been arrived in Bali since months ago and they had passed quarantine period in Bali Bird Park, Gianyar. Now we are celebrating officially this coming since the development of central conservation in Green School has finished,” said him. This event being part of Dies Natalis 49th Udayana.

He confessed now environment quality in Bali had decreased. For those reasons, we need to do real action of environment saving. It is not only a suggestion. “Mangrove plantation and beach cleaning activity is our small movement,” said him. Later he invites all of people to do environment rescue though it looks small but it should be useful in the future.
