At least 155 countries had adopted the ethic code of world tourism to give the best service for their visitors, said the officials of United National World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). “Since United National World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has created, many countries had adopted the ethic code of world tourism,” said General Secretary UNWTO Taleb Rifai in Nusa Dua Bali, on Saturday.

After the opening ceremony of Seminar on Tourism Ethics for Asia and The Pacific, he said each country had adopted this rule in a different ways. Some of them directly listed its tourism rule but some others were inserted it to other rule. “We wished the countries had signed the ethic code then implemented it in their countries,” said him.

Confirmed about the UNWTO membership, said him, there is no binding requirement. All of the requirements were voluntarily. “Our membership based on voluntary principle.
