			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Prof. Dr. Wayan Windia viewed that the development of ecotourism in Bali will give double benefits in increasing people prosperity as well as preserving environment.</p>
<p>“Ecotourism development at subak object (traditional agriculture irrigation organization) provides varied of attractions based on natural resource as the product or market opportunities,” head of Udayana’s Subak System Research in Denpasar.<span id="more-2245"></span></p>
<p>The development of ecotourism in subak territory is in order to push environment preservation efforts stand also as the utilization and management method of environment friendly tourism resources.</p>
<p>The attempt hopes will be able to give economic value in the ecosystem activities in the environment created as the tourism object. It also will increase environment preservation and sustainable natural utilization.</p>
<p>“This kind of tourism could also reduce threat toward biodiversity in each tourism object,” he added.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thefts of sand at Yehembang coastal area, Mendoyo District, lately flare up once again. This action was done at night until very early in the morning, to avoid officers. As far as there are still trucks or pick-up cars transporting the sand, even dare to get too close to the beach.<span id="more-2242"></span></p>
<p>The officers keep receiving report toward that thievery. According to information received yesterday Thursday, in one night at least, three trucks get down to the beach. Due to this condition, local, who care with environment, in the morning reported it to officials. That citizen has caught the perpetrators when they transported the sand.</p>
<p>One of the citizen Banjar Pasar Yehembang Village, I Wayan Jana justify since a month ago there were sand thieveries continuously happened in that area. According to him, the real culprit was not local but coming from other area. Head of Jembrana Civil Service Police Putu Widarta when received that report directly ordered officials to go to the site coordinated with Mendoyo Police.</p>
<p>However, once they arrived at the destination point, the police were not as fast as the perpetrator. The officers did not found anything except rut of truck wheel. Putu Widarta confessed that they were not as fast as the culprit was.</p>
<p>It is since the distance was far away from the office to the scene of crime. This condition becoming the problem for officers makes them go to scene of crime while the culprit has escaped. However, his party will increase their supervision and control around the beach. Civil Services Officer would also commit to suppress any small act involving sand theft. It was fear that the act would cause harm to the environment.</p>

<p>The cloudy weather was not prevent thousands people to watch dialogue and Balinese dances. The sound of gamelan Bali was featuring with the scent of incense and flowers to add the honor of Balinese Templefest. The festival brought by Hindu People Indonesia United in Berlin.</p>
<p>Nyama Braya Berlin worked with the coordinator of World Park Berlin and Indonesia Embassy in Berlin also Religion Ministry Indonesia that imported 61 students of Hindu Indonesia University to show the majesty of Bali culture to the German people. Purno Widodo said the drama of Calon Arang was the main attraction of Balinese Temple Fest in this park. Previously there were kinds of Balinese dances like Kebyar Duduk Dance, Jauk Manis and Legong Keraton. Two days ago those Balinese dances also performed in Ethnology Museum Berlin. Indonesia Ambassador for General Republic German also welcoming this event as it is accessed as the part of diplomacy to tight both countries.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Tourists from China who enjoys beautiful view as well as unique culture of Balinese was 103,924 people for the period of January-March 2012 or increase 82.42 percent compare to the same period last year that was 56,971 Chinese.<span id="more-2238"></span></p>
<p>“Significant improvement has made China to sit on the second position the biggest countries supplying tourists into this area,” said head of Bali Provincial Central Statistic Bureau, Gede Suarsa in Denpasar.</p>
<p>He said that most Chinese came through Ngurah Rai Airport Bali with direct flight from their country. Only 54 of them recorded went through seaport with cruise.</p>
<p>In 2011 tourists from China visited Bali was 236,867 people, increase 20.28 percent compare to the previous year that was only 196,926 people.</p>
<p>Gede Suarsa added that Chinese visiting Bali increase significantly due to the country’s progressing economic condition as well as direct flight from China-Bali provided.</p>
<p>Bali-China actually has emotional relationship. It has been develop since XII century and the remaining relationship stand as the “silent witness” inherited until today through art, religious places up to the architecture style with Chinese characteristic.</p>

<p>Minister Mari Pangestu with group arrived at Bali Safari &amp; Marine Park around 11.30 am. The tour begin with Safari Journey took the group to get around varied of animals coming from Indonesia, India and Africa. They then have lunch at Tsavo Lion Restaurant accompanied with Arican lion separated by glass wall.</p>
<p>The main event for Mari visit at Bali Safari &amp; Marine Park was to watch Bali Agung performance at Bali Theatre. It is about the legendary romance story between King Sri Jaya Pangus, Princess Kang Cing Wei and the Goddess ruler of the Lake, Goddess Danu. Artistic Designer for Bali Agung performance, I Made Sidia was accompanying Mari Pangestu during the on-going show while telling the Minister the course of Bali Agung.</p>
<p>“I was move and proud with this spectacular show. Finally, I was able to watch it. What I saw that this performance was as exciting as that in Vegas, it was incredible! It was picturing our wealth and creativity, of how we takes outsider culture and then integrates it with our own. We can saw that our culture not merely about traditional dance but it can also pack in one contemporary styles,” Mari Pangestu said.</p>
<p>In the end of her speech, she hopes cultural conservation done by Bali Safari &amp; Marine Park will keep develop. This show was close with photograph.</p>

<p>Aside from to enjoying the island natural beauty and its vast culture, Ivian Sarcos arrival also in relation with Miss World election that will be held in Bali 2013.</p>
<p>Julia Morley mentioned that Miss World election scheduled for one month in September 2013. There will be around 131 delegations from around the world to compete in this prestigious competition. The committee has conduct assessment into this island.</p>
<p>“Bali was chosen as the host since this island has been famous around the world. Bali also has received success as the host of many international events. The establishment of Bali as the host for this event also received positive responds from countries that will send their delegation in this event.”</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Miss World Ivian Sarcos in this occasion said she was happy to be able to visit Bali, a beautiful place and famous around the world. It was her first visit to Indonesia, especially to Bali. She comes to attend Miss Indonesian 2012 in Jakarta this Saturday.</p>
<p>“I feels honored to be able to come here and meet Bali Governor, Bali is an interesting place, I will always remember it. This is my first visit to Bali and I was very happy to come here where people are so friendly,” Ivian said.</p>
<p>Governor Pastika was welcoming Miss World Ivian Sarcos from Venezuela to the Island of Gods. He hope Miss World and her entourage could enjoy Bali’s beauty and culture.</p>
<p>“I hope with Miss World visit Bali it will boast the island promotion. We cannot deny that she is the international delegation here,” Pastika said.</p>

<p>He said the foreigner visit expected to increase by increasing cultural art activities in this museum complex. “Though the distance of Denpasar and Badung Regency is far enough but tourists from the eastern area in Bali had visited this museum,” said Gunarsa, the former of Indonesia Art Institute lecturer (ISI) Jogjakarta. Gunarsa added this museum is most visited museum in eastern area of Bali.</p>

The lack of BPS participation in Bali causing by the tariff of Jampersal for birthing mother is still under the standard price of birthing service. The tariff is only Rp350,000 for normal birthing service.<span id="more-2228"></span></p>
<p>According to the head of Medical Department Bali dr. Ketut Suarjaya, normal birthing service tariff has increased into Rp500,000 since December 2011 to encourage the contribution of BPS. It is also aiming to increase the quality of birthing service for mothers in Jampersal program. The tariff addition then increasing the involvement of BPS Bali for People Prosperity Insurance program, said Suarjaya. Now it had reached 365 BPS who had followed Jampersal program.</p>
<p>The chairman of JKPM (People Health Care Insurance) I Gusti Mayeni, SKM., MPH. added Jampersal program is not only paying the birthing service of local mothers but also pregnancy checking service or ANC and PNC (after birthing checking). “ANC checking is paid for four times. The first checking is on the first three semester of pregnancy then it also will cover the second three semester checking service. At last it also will be paid two times of pregnancy checking on third three semester period. In the other side PNC insurance also had been paid for four times checking services,” said him.</p>
<p>Besides normal birthing tariff, ANC and PNC checking tariff also increased from Rp10,000 into Rp20,000. If the pregnant mother needs Caesar surgery or other services besides Jampersal tariff, added Mayeni, it will be paid in accord with IRNA DRG hospital tariff. Jampersal program is not asking complicated requirements. Pregnant mothers should bring their Indonesia ID card and they will directly get this service. It is valid for both married and unmarried women. Balinese people interest in using this program is also very good. Based on data, there are 11,694 ANC visits and PNC visits reaches 12,322 visits recently. In the other side the data of maternity visit in puskesmas (People Health Center) reaches 8,415 visits and birthing visit reaches 5,374.</p>

Some 21 of them are the kingdom’s heritage in Bali such as Ki Baju Rantai keris from Karangasem Palace and Ki Gajah Petak keris from Kanginan Palace Singaraja, Buleleng. There are also Ki Belang Uyang keris from Gianyar Palace and other 100 ancient keris from any parts of Indonesia.</p>
<p>Mr Pande Neka added some of those collection are also categorized into Kamardikan Keris that made by ‘empu’. They aged more than 50 years. “Our keris collection displayed in museum for public including foreigners along with hundreds paintings and statues,” said him. This museum will prepare for its 30th anniversary that marked by the launching of “Keris Taksu” book on 7 July 2012.</p>

From visiting data in the beginning of 2012 until today, only students dominated the list. Meanwhile, public visitor is in its very low number. It recorded only 13 visitors where three of them were foreigners who did research last March. Meanwhile, the remaining ten are domestic who only stop by.<span id="more-2221"></span></p>
<p>There were 169 students visiting the museum starting from elementary school, Junior and High school student. Moreover with the museum has no sufficient accommodation for its employee where those works outside Jembrana should use the remaining space, as they deploying a mat and sleep inside the museum.</p>
<p>Besides, the yard is in a saddening condition too, where rubbish everywhere and the grass were high since no one tidying them. It is probably due to only five people who work there. This condition was also acknowledges by the museum coordinator I Gede Bagus Ketut Ari Susila. According to him, since it was officiated in 1994 the condition is always the same. Public visitor always low when compare to student who usually comes in-group in the middle of semester or in their final.</p>
<p>“They were told by the government, that from kindergarten to high school, any of them have camping activities to always coming here,” he said.</p>
<p>Ari explained that foreigner who came only do this for research. Several other visitors were only stopping by. Moreover, the location of this museum is somewhat hidden. He thought the museum has been once promoted but it somehow paralyzed. The museum want to promote through web but they have no computer to do this. “Do not talk about computer, we didn’t even have brochure for this museum,” he said.</p>
